Impact Computers policy is one of ongoing update and revision. We may revise and discontinue Product at any time without notice to you.

Impact Computers will ship Product that has the functionality and performance of the Product ordered, but changes between what is shipped and what is described in a specification sheet or catalog are possible.

All Products on the site are labeled as New, Refurbished or Certified.

All Products, regardless of the condition are covered exclusively by Impact Computers Risk Free 90 Days Warranty

New Products

New parts and products are sourced directly from the OEM or manufacturer. However, they typically do not come in retail packaging and may sometimes be "pulls" from other systems.

Refurbished Products

Refurbishment is the distribution of products (usually electronics) that have been previously returned to a manufacturer or vendor for various reasons. Refurbished products are normally tested for functionality and defects before they are sold. Refurbished units have the same functionality as new parts, but they might have minor cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or minor discoloration.

Certified Parts

There are many other sources to obtain parts in the market place depending on supply and demand. Some sources that Impact Computers uses are:

  • Pulls - A pull part is derived from a new or used machine that is taken apart
  • Returned - A part that was return to the manufacturer or to us
  • Used - A part was previously used
  • EOL - End of life part, the manufacturer no longer supports the part
  • Generic/ OEM - A part that has been manufactured by a third party

Certified parts are normally tested for functionality and defects before they are sold. The units have the same functionality as new parts or refurbished parts but they might have minor cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or minor discoloration.

Certified parts come clean and packed with a security code and serial number. They have the same exact part number as a new part.
